Summary
The Supervisor, Day Program, oversees, monitors, and coordinates the daily operations of a day program providing services to individuals. This position communicates with the staff, consumers, parents/guardians, and consumers' team members to ensure that appropriate services and supports are provided, and is responsible for coordinating day program activities consistent with consumer personal support/habilitation plans.

Essential Job Functions
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
- Oversees the daily operation of the Day Program.
- Serves as administrative supervisor for all Day Program personnel (excluding clinical specialists) including hiring, performance evaluation and disciplinary action.
- Maintains a safe environment at the day program.
- Ensures that day program placement and the schedules of clients align with each individual’s requirements.
- Updates and implements medication sheets for all individuals served.
- Coordinates transportation for all medical appointments during day program hours.
- Ensures that the Day Program is in compliance with the standards of all applicable state and private certification and licensing agencies.
- Completes monthly inspections and implements corrective action as necessary
- Cooperates with the licensee and Department of Human Services in any inspection or investigation.
- Ensures all vehicles have proper documentation and compliance with state and licensing agencies and regular maintenance is maintained.
- Implements all safety and fire procedures at day program according to all regulations and standards
- Maintains monthly budgets and required documentation.
- Completes payroll documentation for all day program employees.
- Evaluates and orders monthly supplies for the Day Program.
- Serves on committees as assigned.
- Performs other related duties and activities as required.

Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in Human Services field
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
- Must maintain a current valid driver’s license and all required certifications and tests as required by state of operation.
