We are seeking a motivated Part-Time Property Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Manage leasing processes, including lease or rental agreement management and tenant screening
- Handle client communication with professionalism, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Oversee property maintenance coordination and facilities management to ensure properties are well-kept
- Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite for data entry, reporting, and record keeping
- Enforce Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws to ensure compliance across all activities
- Assist with budgeting tasks and financial record management related to property operations
- Support conflict management efforts by mediating tenant concerns and fostering positive relationships
Skills
- Proficiency with property management software including Yardi, preferred
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and LIHTC compliance
- Experience with Section 8 housing programs and Section 8 lease administration
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client relationship management and upselling opportunities
- Effective negotiation, contracts management, and conflict resolution abilities
- Administrative expertise in data entry, filing, office procedures, and phone etiquette
- Ability to manage team activities, coordinate property maintenance, and oversee facilities operations
