Experienced 5-Axis CNC Programmer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 5-Axis CNC Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with advanced programming techniques and a strong background in machining complex parts to exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and optimize 5-axis CNC programs using CAM software and G-code for various milling operations.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, primarily focusing on Fanuc and Haas controls.
- Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine optimal machining strategies.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates to achieve maximum efficiency and surface finish.
- Conduct first-part inspection and make necessary program adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot machining problems and continuously improve processes.
- Utilize Fanuc controls and MasterCam software for programming
- Ensure precision and quality in machining operations
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of professional experience as a CNC Programmer, specifically with 5-axis simultaneous machining.
- Expert-level proficiency in programming and operating machines with Fanuc and Haas control systems.
- Proven expertise in CNC Milling techniques, including fixture design and complex material handling.
- Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, etc.).
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- Excellent blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) skills.
Preferred Qualifications (A Strong Plus)
- Experience with CNC Grinding operations and programming.
- Formal technical training or an Associate's Degree in Machining Technology.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
