Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented E-Commerce Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. The primary responsibility of this position is to accurately pick, pack, and prepare online orders received through Shopify.
This is a hands-on warehouse position that also includes receiving deliveries, putting away inventory, maintaining an organized workspace, and keeping the warehouse clean. As the company grows, this position may expand to include inventory management and additional warehouse responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and process incoming Shopify orders.
- Accurately pick products according to customer orders.
- Pack orders carefully and prepare them for shipment.
- Verify product names, quantities, and order details before shipping.
- Print shipping labels and organize completed packages for carrier pickup.
- Receive incoming deliveries and compare products against packing slips or purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming merchandise for shortages, damage, or incorrect products.
- Put away, organize, and safely stack received inventory.
- Restock picking areas as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled shelves and work areas.
- Break down boxes, dispose of packaging materials, and perform routine warehouse cleaning.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts when assigned.
- Report damaged, missing, misplaced, or low-stock products to management.
- Follow all warehouse safety, security, and order-accuracy procedures.
- Take on additional fulfillment and inventory-related responsibilities as the business grows.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, order fulfillment, shipping, or e-commerce experience is preferred but not required.
- Shopify experience is preferred but training may be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple incoming orders.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable using a computer, barcode scanner, label printer, and shipping equipment (training provided).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
- Willingness to clean and help maintain the overall organization of the warehouse.
- Interest in learning inventory management and taking on additional responsibilities.
