We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team and gain hands‑on experience in international freight forwarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer communication and logistics coordination for air, ocean, and truck freight shipments.
- Assist with shipment tracking, carrier follow‑ups, and communication with overseas partners to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Review and prepare shipping documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with internal departments to maintain shipment visibility and ensure quality compliance.
- Assist with billing and invoicing to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Coordinate bookings with airlines and ocean carriers on behalf of customers.
- Help resolve service deviations by working with destination stations and carriers.
- Manage multiple tasks with strong time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
Qualifications
- Current Junior, Senior, or Graduate student (preferred majors: Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, International Business).
- Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Interest in international logistics is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Excel, or PowerPoint is a plus.
Compensation
Hourly Pay: $20 – $27.43 per hour (Compensation based on experience, education, and skill level.)
