Job Summary
Seven Saints is seeking a dedicated and energetic Host/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest services within the hospitality industry.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing plates and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order delivery.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations while handling food items.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any needs or concerns promptly.
- Assist in setting up for banquets or special events as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary terminology is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced atmosphere while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest services.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
