What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at Seven Ranges Mfg. Corp.?
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Record & Track Inventory (Finished Parts; Parts in Process/ Raw Matl) to Schedule Shipment of Part Orders
- Prepare Shipping Documents and Schedule Carriers (Truck or UPS/FedEx Ground) Working Closely with Plant Manager and Sales Manager
- Plan and Organize Company Truck Deliveries and Pick Ups (for Customers and Suppliers)
- Obtain Freight Rate Quotes and Approve/Coordinate Payment of Freight Invoices
- Maintains Open Purchase Order Report
- Attend Weekly Production Meeting
- Perform Annual Physical Inventory
Qualifications:
- Must be organized and possess a self-motivated work ethic and be able to work independently and with our team.
- Must comply with the Seven Ranges Drug Free Workplace Program policy and provide a negative Pre-Placement drug test result (10-panel urine-based drug test) at Seven Ranges’ expense.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license.
Other Job Details:
Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
Shift Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with paid 10-Minute breaks at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. There is also an unpaid 30-Minute break between 12:00 AM and 12:30 AM. Please note shift may be adjusted after training period has been completed.
Benefits:
Starting rate is based on experience. Employee will be eligible to enroll in medical insurance after completing 60-day probation period. Paid holidays available for eligible employees and paid vacation begins on first anniversary of hire date (minimum work hours will apply).
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
