Responsibilities
What You’ll Do Psychiatric Evaluation & Treatment
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and transition-age youth.
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Provide ongoing medication management, monitoring effectiveness, side effects, and adherence.
- Work closely with therapists, nurses, care coordinators, peer specialists, and primary care providers.
- Participate in team-based treatment planning and case reviews.
- Provide clinical consultation to staff for diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations.
- Participate in urgent behavioral health services, including same-day assessments and consultations.
- Support integrated care efforts across clinical and community settings.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with agency, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case conferences, and trainings.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) required
- Board Certified Psychiatrist
- DEA Registration
- 3–5 years of related experience, preferably in outpatient or community mental health
- Valid driver’s license (Class C or D)
Salary : $130 - $133
