Position Summary...

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the Medication Nursing Assistant administers medications and treatments to stable residential students and completes all required documentation in accordance with established nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

Our students present with some of the most complex behavioral and developmental needs in New England. Many require intensive supports, individualized interventions, and collaborative clinical care to help them navigate daily life successfully. Every day brings an opportunity to make a lasting impact by collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to keep students healthy, safe, and ready to learn and grow.

In this role, you will:

• Administer scheduled and PRN medications as delegated by an RN or LPN
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration at all times
• Document all medication administration or refusals in the MAR per policy
• Count, administer, and document controlled substances
• Monitor students’ medical needs in accordance with MARs, TARs, IEPs, and residential care plans
• Obtain and record vital signs, heights, and weights as requested
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant medication room and cart
• Monitor medication inventory and coordinate reorders with pharmacy and central supply
• Report medication errors, adverse reactions, or concerns promptly to nursing staff
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding medication supplies
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols
• Complete required continuing education and professional development

What You Bring...

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET
• Valid, unrestricted Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing is required
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a licensed MNA
• Standard Driver’s License (Class C or D)

Shifts Available...

• Saturday & Sunday; 6:00am-10:00pm, & Wednesday; 2:00pm-10:00pm OR...
• Sunday - Thursday; 6:00am - 2:00pm
