Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Compounding Technician located in Jupiter, FL. The Compounding Technician will be responsible for compounding medications in accordance with standard operating procedures and applicable state and federal regulations. The role requires the Compounding Technician to have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with maximum accuracy and efficiency while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards of USP 795, 797, and 800.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience as a compounding technician in a hospital or compounding pharmacy setting
- Experience with variety of compounding equipment and processes
- Strong math skills with the ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English
- Knowledge of USP regulations and compounding practices
- Knowledge of USP environmental regulations and monitoring practices
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality assurance
- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician or eligibility to become certified
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
