Job Summary
Seven Carrot Learning provides Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) therapy to children who need to learn the skills to effectively participate in their current role in society by improving language, communication, cognition, daily living skills and by decreasing interfering or challenging behaviors. We strive to deliver the best and most effective care possible to our families and we do that by: focusing on the needs of the child in an ethical and accurate manner; having well trained and supported and motivated staff, and by using the most evidenced based interventions and innovative methods.
Job responsibilities:
- Love working and playing 1:1 with children (many on the autism spectrum)
- Maintain a fun and happy attitude
- Communicate with our team and families in a caring and professional manner
- Willingness to learn and able to take and apply feedback
- Collect accurate data and write professional notes
Job requirements:
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license, insurance, and able to drive to home of families
- Experience providing ABA in home, school, or clinics preferred
- Bachelors preferred (additional training provided)
- Hold a RBT or willing to work toward credential (check out BACB.com)
- Pass criminal background check/drug screening
- Must have regular access and knowledge of use of modern technology
- Able to lift 50 pounds and comfortable sitting on floor
- Able to walk, run, and play with children
