Human Resources Generalist
Location: Concord, CA (Must live within 30 minutes)
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week | In-Person
Pay: $27 – $33 per hour
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and adaptable Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team in Concord. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, multi-location healthcare environment where no two days are the same.

This is not just a desk job. You’ll be actively involved in recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and supporting HR initiatives that help our organization grow.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the recruitment team to interview and hire qualified candidates
- Manage non-provider employee contracts and maintain accurate personnel records
- Oversee onboarding, orientations, and offboarding processes
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team events
- Respond to employee and applicant inquiries professionally and confidentially
- Assist with benefits administration and compliance requirements
- Maintain HR documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct background checks and employment verifications
- Visit multiple locations to support staff and maintain HR standards
- Support training, performance management, and workforce planning efforts
- Stay up to date on employment laws and HR best practices
- Assist with additional HR projects as the organization evolves
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year of HR experience (HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar role)
- Healthcare or multi-site experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams required)
- Experience with HR/payroll systems such as Paycor or ADP preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must live within a 30-minute commute of Concord, CA
