Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life-safety systems throughout the property
Respond promptly to guest room and common area maintenance requests, resolving issues efficiently with minimal disruption to guests
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records using available tracking systems
Inspect property grounds, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and guest rooms on a regular schedule to identify and address issues before they escalate
Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors for repairs or services beyond in-house capabilities; monitor work quality and completion
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety codes, OSHA standards, and brand-specific property maintenance requirements
Support the housekeeping and operations teams during high-occupancy periods and special projects as needed
Requirements
1-3 years of maintenance experience in a hotel, commercial building, or multi-unit residential environment
Working knowledge of HVAC, basic plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry/repair
Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, safety data sheets, and work order systems
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined or outdoor spaces as needed
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call emergency response
CPO (Certified Pool Operator), EPA 608, or HVAC certification a plus; willingness to obtain certifications supported
