Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that support early childhood development, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of children, including toddlers and preschoolers
- Support children’s social-emotional growth through effective behavior management strategies and child welfare practices
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor progress, conduct assessments, and support early intervention when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of student development, attendance, and standardized testing results
- Foster strong communication skills to effectively work with children, parents, and team members
Qualifications
- Elementary or Early Childhood Teaching Certificate required
- Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management approaches
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
