Settle Down ABA is a provider of In Home and Clinical based Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy Services (ABA) within the Clark County Area. Our organization maintains 3 clinical care centers in Henderson, South West LV and North Las Vegas. Settle Down ABA is driven by the quality-of-care initiatives, company values and ethics in our delivery of professional, caring, and ethical therapy services to all clients, while maintaining support and growth opportunities to each member of the organization.
Settle Down ABA is lead by Christina E. Settle, COO, BCBA with the expertise and support of the BCBA Clinical Directors of Dr. Kristen Kelley, BCBA-D, and Frances Pereira, BCBA that drive the clinical direction and oversight of the quality-of-care that if the focus of every clients treatment. We expect the highest level of ethical, moral, and professional conduct from our Board Certified Behavior Analysts. The BCBA's role in the organization as a clinician and mentor to the entire clinical care team on their cases. We are looking for dynamic, caring professionals to join our growing Team!
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments including VB- MAPP, ABLLS- R
- Develop Treatment plans based on the principles of ABA to address communication, behavior, et al.
- Create treatment plans, document session notes and quarterly progress notes.
- Collaborate with other BCBAs and other disciplines to maximize treatment outcomes.
- Provide monthly family/parent training to families/parents within the provided family/parent training curriculum.
- Observe confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information- HIPAA.
- Train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to successfully apply the principles of behavior analysis.
- Supervise a team of RBTs in both clinical and managerial capacity.
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy services and training to staff and parents/guardians to include case conceptualization, behavioral assessments, graphing and progress monitoring.
- Provides maintenance of medical or educational records in line with all compliance policies within the organization.
- Provide direct supervision and training to ensure accurate implementation of evidence-based educational and clinical practices.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings when necessary.
- Plan, design, and conduct staff training when necessary.
- Complies with the standards of care in observations of behavior intervention.
- Performs and documents frequent integrity assessments to ensure fidelity of implementation of behavior intervention plans.
- Work interactively with parents/guardians to provide training and support.
- Submit all written reports to the clinical supervisor/director for review.
- Comply with monthly supervision requirements.
- Maintain licensure and/or certifications as well as annual trainings as designated by the organization and regulatory agencies.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Ensure that all consultation endeavors comply with regulatory, professional, ethical and organizational policies and procedures.
- Settle Down ABA considers a BCBA to be an Essential Care worker.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current and active license with the Board of Applied Behavior Analysis as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst·
- Currently licensed as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in the State of Nevada
- Has achieved a Masters Level Degree
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
- Must be able to travel; company does not provide vehicles or transportation.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting.
- Must be able to sit and climb stairs.
- Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
- Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids and infectious diseases.
- Must be able to adhere to HIPAA privacy and confidentiality standards
- Maintains professional boundaries to curb dual relationships.
- Actively engages Settle Down ABA internal board of ethics.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
