About the Role
The Director of Programs is a senior leader responsible for owning program strategy, systems, and outcomes at a designated campus. Reporting to the Network Director of Programs, this individual oversees both the El Camino after-school program and the Seton Teaching Fellows placed within Brilla Schools.
This role serves as a critical bridge across programs, ensuring strong execution, alignment, and communication between El Camino, STF, and Brilla leadership. The Director plays a key role in instructional leadership, people management, and program operations—balancing big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Leadership
- Coach and supervise Seton Teaching Fellows to strengthen instructional effectiveness
- Support Fellows in implementing the El Camino catechetical curriculum with fidelity and purpose
- Provide real-time coaching, classroom observations, and actionable feedback
- Lead professional development in classroom management, pedagogy, and lesson execution
- Collaborate with network instructional leaders to align goals and improve outcomes
- Analyze student performance data to inform instructional improvements
- Foster a joyful, engaging, and mission-aligned learning environment
People Management
- Hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing program team
- Manage staff including an assistant site manager, operations assistant, and coach
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to support growth and accountability
- Build strong relationships with fellows, school leaders, families, and students
- Cultivate a professional, mission-driven, and supportive team culture
Program & Operations Management
- Oversee daily program logistics, scheduling, and execution
- Coordinate events, family engagement initiatives, and communications
- Ensure alignment with program goals and network-wide initiatives
- Implement systems for tracking performance and continuous improvement
- Enforce discipline policies and maintain a positive student culture
- Act as a liaison between El Camino, STF, and Brilla leadership
- Support cross-functional collaboration and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Deep commitment to the mission of Seton and Catholic education
- Practicing Catholic aligned with Church teachings
- 3 years of teaching experience with demonstrated student achievement
- 1 years of experience in program management, operations, or leadership
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience in coaching or developing educators
- Familiarity with data analysis and program evaluation
- Experience with event planning and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Excel

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000–$90,000
