What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Coach - Boys Volleyball position at Seton Catholic Preparatory High School?
Seton Catholic Preparatory High School is seeking a Boys Volleyball Head Coach for the upcoming season. We are excited to identify a strong leader who will continue to build on the tradition of our program while developing student-athletes in alignment with Seton Catholic’s mission and core values.
We are looking to fill this position in the next few weeks in order to prepare for open gyms, and to ensure a smooth transition.
Responsibilities include:
Plan and lead practices, open gyms, and game-day preparation
Coach and develop student-athletes in volleyball skill, strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Oversee season planning, scheduling, and program communication
Maintain team discipline and uphold school and athletic department policies
Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and school administration
Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of student-athletes at all activities
Qualifications:
Prior volleyball coaching experience (high school or club preferred)
Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, training principles, and player development
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to the academic, personal, and spiritual growth of student-athletes
Ability to support and represent the mission of Seton Catholic Preparatory
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
