Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by serving quality food, drinks and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Interact with customers to take food and drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience.
- Handle cash and process transactions using the POS system accurately.
- Assist in food handling when necessary, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to coordinate catering events as needed.
- Stay updated on drink trends, brewing techniques, and new menu items to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with brewing processes is a plus.
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws and regulations.
