What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist (Manual machining) position at Seternity Solutions?
We are seeking a CNC Machinist for a manufacturing company in Leominster. This role will operate and program CNC and shop equipment to manufacture and refurbish precision parts, while ensuring quality, safety, and on-time production.
This is a Direct Hire position. This is hourly pay range of $30-$40/hr DOE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to support on-time delivery
- Program and operate CNC equipment to manufacture custom parts
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and tolerances to ensure accurate production
- Follow established procedures and communicate effectively with management to meet quality standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure proper machine guarding at all times
- Track and report work order progress, including quantities produced
- Operate a variety of equipment across multiple stages of the production process
- Cross-train in machining and assembly functions within the department
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality
- Perform additional duties as assigned
MUST HAVES:
- Ability to read blueprints
- 3-5 year’s experience manufacturing parts using CNC machines
