What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Specialist position at SET Environmental Inc?
An Environmental Services Specialist at SET Environmental is responsible for:
- Preparing paperwork and coordinate daily filed service and transportation jobs
- Helping coordinate emergency responses with other SET departments
- Providing waste profiling, manifesting and management
- Providing disposal site pricing to sales department
- Assisting in qualifying incoming leads and direct to appropriate sales person
- Making sure customer needs/calls are attended to as quickly as possible
- Performing daily customer service responsibilities
- Working closely with the sales department, supplying them with creative transportation and disposal options
- Recommending potential services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
- Working cooperatively with operational groups
- Working closely/cooperatively with designated sales representative(s)
- Willing to perform any other miscellaneous duties as necessary
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 4 year degree, preferably in a science field or4 years working in a team environment and preferably in a customer service role
- Competent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Solid reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Proven self-starter, highly motivated, sets aggressive goals
- Ability to effectively multi-task while managing a heavy workload
- Must be detail orientated
