What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multipurpose Technician position at SET Environmental Inc?

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- Provide support in various process areas on-site to include (may not be all inclusive)
- Truck escort for transportation vendors/onsite projects
- Compliance related inspections (i.e.spill kits, grounds/trench inspections)
- Forklift operations for deliveries/pickups from waste storage area
- On call coverage during the week and weekends
- Miscellaneous tasks as requested
- Comply with SET Environmental's policies, safety rules, and procedures regarding the proper use of safety equipment and the safe work practices
- Report all incidents/injuries immediately (property damage, "near misses",etc.)
- Participate in safety meetings and preparation of Job Hazard Analysis and Site Safety Plans as needed
- Adhere to all aspects of applicable safety programs, site specific rules, and regulations
- Quickly and immediately perform spill responses as needed onsite
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Hold a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record
- Obtain and keep current all certifications/licenses required(HAZWOPER, medical,respirator clearance, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and high focus on safety
- Ability to work safely and follow direction and procedures
- Willingness to take on additional tasks on demand
