Overview
Psychotherapist (LMSW or MHC-LP) – Private Practice with Clinical Supervision
A long-established, thriving multidisciplinary private practice is seeking a part-time psychotherapist pursuing independent licensure in New York State. Clinical supervision toward licensure will be provided. A minimum of 15 clinical hours per week is required.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build a caseload quickly within a well-established practice. Candidates must be available to provide in-person services in our office 1 day a week, with additional remote opportunities available.
The Candidate
- Holds a New York State LMSW or MHC-LP (or is eligible for a limited permit).
- Resides in New York State.
- Has at least one year of experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults in a clinical setting.
- Has knowledge of the DSM-5, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and other evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Is motivated to grow clinically, receptive to supervision and feedback, and committed to ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while receiving supervision.
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and manage electronic medical records with precision while adhering to confidentiality standards.

We specialize in working with high-functioning, motivated individuals presenting with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, life transitions, and personality-related challenges.

Position Details
Job Type: Part-Time, 1099 Independent Contractor
Location: Hybrid position. Candidates must provide in-person services in our office on either Tuesdays or Fridays. Additional remote work is available throughout New York State.
Hours: Minimum of 15 clinical hours per week
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and credentials. Clinical supervision toward licensure is provided at no cost.
