Tree Worker – Groundworker & Climber | Sesmas Tree Service | Charlotte, NC
Sesmas Tree Service is expanding in Charlotte and we’re looking for tree workers who want to grow with us, not just fill a seat on a truck.
We’re an Atlanta-based tree care company with a Board Certified Master Arborist on the leadership team, a strong reputation, and a Charlotte market that’s taking off.
If you’re early in your career and want to learn from experienced arborists, or if you’re a seasoned climber ready to step into a bigger role, this is the right time to join.
What You’ll Do
• Perform tree removals, pruning, and canopy work safely and efficiently
• Operate as ground crew supporting climbing operations — brush management, chipping, rigging assistance, site cleanup
• Climbers: work independently in the canopy with proper rigging and communication
• Represent Sesmas professionally on every job site
What We’re Looking For
• Any level of experience welcome — we will train the right person
• Climbers with ISA credentials or field-proven ability preferred
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL a plus
• Reliable, coachable, and safety-conscious
• Someone who wants a career, not just a job
