Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Brazer/Welder to join our team in Conroe Texas. This position performs duties that include brazing and welding various types of materials with MIG and TIG both in manual and automated applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for manufacturing and repair functions in the welding shop.
- Fabricate downhole drilling equipment, including stabilizers.
- Work with management to estimate time frame on welding jobs.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, relevant company/customer QHSE requirements.
- Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
- 1 year of welding experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
