Superior is currently seeking an Asset & Data Governance Coordinator/ Reporting Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX (Downtown) (On-Site 5 days) to lead the oversight of asset lists, utility data, and HR metrics in support of our global sustainability reporting efforts across the O&G Rentals and Services business. This role sits at the intersection of finance, data assurance, sustainability governance, and reporting readiness, and involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the firm to ensure data accuracy and transparency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, and Marketing / Sustainability teams to support data collection, validation, and reporting
- Maintain and update current asset lists (leased and owned buildings, vehicles, and equipment)
- Oversee monthly utility invoice data collection in partnership with operations team and ensure accurate input into Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Review and validate invoice details in line with internal data standards
- Leverage Workiva Sustainability and Carbon platform to maintain a “single source of truth” of asset data
- Oversee the annual sustainability report cycle and ensure data aligned with internal KPIs and external frameworks
- Manage ESG-related transparency requests from customers and partners in collaboration with Sales, Legal, Communications, and Sustainability teams.
- Coordinate responses to external sustainability assessments (e.g., EcoVadis, CDP)
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in data governance, ideally with sustainability data
- Strong understanding of financial reporting (e.g. IFRS. GAAP) and sustainability reporting frameworks (CDP, ISSB IFRS S1 / S2, etc.).
- Familiarity with D365 and Workiva preferred
- Experience supporting internal audits and third-party assurance activities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
- Experience in the oil & gas / energy services sector is a plus
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in data governance, ideally with sustainability data
