What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Director position at Sesame Rockwood Day Camps?
Come make a splash this summer at Sesame/Rockwood Camps! We are looking for our next Pool Director! You will be responsible for the overall safety of our campers and staff in the pool complex, educating/training our lifeguards/swim instructors on their teaching techniques for different ages and abilities. Also, you need to ensure that we are maintaining proper standards for local department of health standards as well as the American Camp Association standards.
We have 5 pools that range in size and depth to accommodate the age range of our campers, 3-14 years old. We utilize the American Red Cross Program to assess our campers swimming abilities.
The camp season is Monday - Friday, June 22nd - August 14th, 2026. The day starts with a Leadership Team meeting at 8am. Snacks and lunch are provided. Transportation is provided if needed. Camp is closed on Friday, July 3, 2026.
