SERVPRO Team Kellogg is seeking an experienced Write & Run Construction Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of projects from the initial estimate through final completion.
This is more than a traditional project management role. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, insurance professionals, subcontractors, and our internal production team—guiding restoration and reconstruction projects with professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do
As a Write & Run Construction Manager, you'll oversee every phase of residential and commercial reconstruction projects, including:
- Meet with customers and insurance partners to inspect property damage and develop repair solutions
- Prepare detailed Xactimate estimates and scopes of work
- Negotiate project scope and approvals with customers and insurance carriers
- Educate customers throughout the reconstruction process while delivering an exceptional experience
- Schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and production schedules
- Perform job site visits to ensure quality workmanship, safety, and schedule adherence
- Maintain clear communication with homeowners, adjusters, vendors, and internal team members
- Review job documentation and maintain complete project files
- Manage project costs, collect deposits and progress payments, and assist with final billing
- Complete final walkthroughs and obtain Certificates of Completion and Customer Satisfaction
- Coordinate warranty work when necessary
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, permit requirements, and company standards
- Identify, recruit, and develop high-quality subcontractor relationships
- Assist in mentoring team members and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a confident leader who combines technical construction knowledge with exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Qualifications include:
- Experience managing residential and/or commercial construction projects
- Restoration and insurance repair experience preferred
- Experience writing estimates using Xactimate (preferred)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High School Diploma or GED required
- PMP certification is a plus, but not required

Schedule
This is a full-time exempt position. Typical hours are Monday through Friday; however, flexibility is required as project demands may include evenings, weekends, and occasional on-call responsibilities. Most travel is local within our service area.
