The disaster restoration Estimator is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to successfully obtain, bid and price mitigation projects. They are responsible for ensuring an accurate scope of work is created, delivering a consistent and complete estimate, and maintaining a high quality of service in all dealings with project managers, customers, and resource providers involved in mitigation services. The Disaster Restoration Estimator is responsible for reviewing, revising, and optimizing restoration estimates to ensure proper billing, maximum allowable recovery, and full documentation compliance. Then you may be our perfect hero!Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesDisaster restoration industry experience and fluent in Xactimate is a plus!Meet with the project management team ensure an accurate scope of work project details.Create an accurate sketch using Docusketch and Xactimate and initial scope of work for projects.Create and deliver a well-defined repair estimate based on the Docusketch provided by the Project Managers.Very proficient with Xactimate or CoreLogin (Symbility) specific franchise software.Experience with Eagle View Roof Estimates.Prepare budgets based on the estimates created.Work with insurance adjusters.Review job site documentation to support the services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing processManage production expenses including equipment, vehicles, and other material assetsMaintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives.Manage production expenses including equipment, vehicles, and other material assetsWork with Project Mangers to deliver, thorough, complete and accurate final estimate to office for customer and insurance invoicing.This is an in-office position but may occasionally be required to go to the field to conduct take-offs on larger scale jobs.Other Other ad-hoc duties assigned and requested by management.
