Construction Supervisor and Quality Control Manager

SERVPRO Team Fox – Reconstruction Division

SERVPRO Team Fox is looking for an experienced, hands-on Reconstruction Field Supervisor / Quality Control Specialist to oversee the quality and completion of residential and commercial reconstruction projects.

This is a field-based position for someone who understands construction, takes pride in quality workmanship, and knows how to get projects across the finish line.

You will work closely with our Project Managers and subcontractors to make sure work is completed properly, customers are satisfied, and projects are truly ready to be closed out.

What You'll Do

• Visit active reconstruction projects to inspect workmanship, progress, and overall job quality.
• Oversee and hold subcontractors accountable for SERVPRO's quality standards.
• Identify workmanship issues before they become customer complaints or delay project completion.
• Perform final quality-control inspections and develop punch lists.
• Make sure punch-list items are completed quickly and correctly.
• Communicate directly with homeowners and customers to address concerns and ensure they are satisfied with the finished project.
• Coordinate with Project Managers regarding subcontractor performance, scheduling issues, and outstanding work.
• Step in and personally complete smaller repairs or punch-list items when necessary rather than allowing a project to remain unfinished.
• Troubleshoot construction problems in the field and determine the best solution.
• Help ensure projects are clean, professional, and ready for final customer walkthrough.

Hands-On Construction Experience

The right candidate should be comfortable performing or supervising work including:

• Drywall installation and repair
• Taping, spackling, and finishing
• Interior painting and touch-ups
• Trim, molding, and finish carpentry
• Door and hardware adjustments
• Minor flooring repairs
• Light plumbing repairs
• Basic fixture installation
• General punch-list and handyman-type repairs

You don't need to be a master tradesperson in every category, but you should have enough construction experience to recognize quality work, identify poor workmanship, explain how something should be corrected, and make repairs yourself when needed.

What We're Looking For

• 5 years of residential or commercial construction experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of reconstruction and finish work
• Hands-on experience with drywall, painting, carpentry, and light plumbing
• Experience supervising subcontractors or construction crews
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and customers
• Ability to solve problems without waiting for someone else to handle them
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Valid driver's license
• Restoration or insurance reconstruction experience is a plus

The Person We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who walks into a project and immediately notices the details.

If a wall isn't finished properly, a door doesn't close correctly, paint needs touching up, trim isn't right, or a customer has a concern, you take ownership of getting it resolved.

This isn't a position for someone who only wants to manage from a phone or computer. We want someone who can manage subcontractors, communicate with customers, inspect quality, and roll up their sleeves and finish something themselves when that's the fastest and best way to take care of the customer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
