Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Entry Level Demolition Labor Technician role based in Vancouver, BC. The Demolition Labor Technician will primarily assist in demolition tasks related to property restoration projects. Responsibilities include removing damaged materials, operating basic tools and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe worksite, and adhering to safety protocols and company standards. The role may also involve supporting other team members in cleanup efforts, documentation, and other duties as required to ensure seamless restoration for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience or ability to use demolition tools and equipment, including hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, removing debris, and working in various environments
- Ability to follow safety protocols, maintain cleanliness at the worksite, and pay attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors, with a focus on meeting project timelines
- Willingness to learn new skills, follow instructions, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
- Previous experience in construction, demolition, or restoration work is beneficial but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
