SERVPRO® is seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Production Manager to oversee mitigation and restoration projects from initial loss through completion. This position is responsible for managing crews, coordinating job schedules, maintaining documentation, communicating with customers and insurance representatives, and ensuring all work meets SERVPRO standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
The ideal candidate has restoration, construction, mitigation, or project-management experience and is comfortable leading teams in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make decisions in the field while keeping projects moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Manage mitigation, remediation, demolition, cleaning, and restoration projects from start to finish
- Schedule and supervise production crews, subcontractors, and equipment needs
- Perform job-site inspections and develop work plans based on the scope of loss
- Ensure all jobs are properly documented with photos, notes, moisture readings, sketches, drying logs, and required forms
- Communicate with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and internal office staff throughout the project
- Review job progress daily and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to SERVPRO quality standards
- Assist with estimating, job costing, supplements, and scope changes as needed
- Monitor equipment placement, drying progress, and daily equipment logs
- Ensure crews follow proper safety procedures, including PPE requirements and contamination-control protocols
- Train, coach, and hold production technicians accountable for job performance and documentation
- Maintain organized job files and ensure all information is submitted on time for billing and insurance review
- Respond to emergency losses, including water, fire, mold, storm, and biohazard-related projects when needed
- Help maintain a positive, professional customer experience during difficult property-loss situations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, remodeling, or project management preferred
- Prior leadership or crew-management experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to read scopes of work, measurements, sketches, and job documentation
- Comfortable using mobile apps, job-management software, email, and photo documentation systems
- Knowledge of drying principles, water mitigation, mold remediation, fire cleanup, and demolition is a plus
- IICRC certifications are preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certifications is required
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple jobs, and respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in residential and commercial job-site conditions
