Servpro of Suffolk is hiring for Mitigation/Restoration Technician positions; these positions are guaranteed $40,000 per year. Between bonuses, profit sharing, and PPE pay, all our production team members make over $40,000 a year. Paid vacation and paid time off amount to over 4 weeks per year.

This job requires physical labor, so if that is not what you are looking for, this position is not for you. Daily, we tear up floors, remove drywall, clean up water, set up drying equipment, clean up & mitigate mold, and fires.

We are often the first people on the scene after someone has a major disaster in their home, so if you get satisfaction from helping others, then this position might be the perfect fit for you. Experience in the restoration and construction industry is a plus, but not required (we will train you!). We want people with a positive attitude and a great work ethic. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
