Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a SERVPRO Technician located in Richmond Hill, GA. The SERVPRO Technician will be responsible for providing exceptional cleanup and restoration services to clients, including fire, water, and mold damage restoration. Core responsibilities include assessing damaged properties, performing water extraction and dehumidification, handling mold mitigation, and implementing general cleaning procedures such as deodorization and content restoration. The Technician will also ensure proper documentation, communicate job progress with clients and team members, and maintain a clean and organized work site.
Qualifications
- Experience in property damage restoration, including water extraction, mold remediation, and fire/smoke damage cleanup
- Knowledge or certification in restoration industry standards (e.g., IICRC certification is a plus)
- Ability to use specialized equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and cleaning tools effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and resolve damage-related challenges
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Physical ability to perform tasks that include lifting, carrying heavy equipment, and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of safety protocols when working with hazardous materials
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in related fields is a bonus
