WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT – RESTORATION COMPANY
Location: Northern Virginia
Full-Time Position
We are a growing restoration company seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to help manage our warehouse, equipment, supplies, and company vehicles.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is organized, mechanically inclined, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining an orderly workspace. Retired military personnel are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
- Organize and track restoration equipment, tools, and supplies
- Conduct regular supply and inventory counts
- Receive, unload, organize, and distribute incoming materials and supplies
- Prepare equipment and supplies for restoration crews and upcoming projects
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Monitor company vehicles for needed repairs or maintenance
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Keep warehouse inventory and equipment records updated
- Assist with deliveries and pickups as needed
- Maintain accountability for company property, tools, and equipment
- Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable performing basic maintenance
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
- Experience with inventory management is preferred
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retired military experience is a plus
- Previous warehouse, logistics, fleet maintenance, or equipment management experience
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment
- Experience with basic automotive or small equipment maintenance
