SERVPRO of Spokane County is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Water Restoration Technician to join our growing team in Spokane, WA. This leadership role is ideal for a restoration professional who is passionate about helping residential and commercial customers recover from water, fire, mold, and contents-related losses.
As a Lead Water Restoration Technician, you will oversee mitigation projects, lead restoration crews, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure all work is completed according to SERVPRO standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency water, fire, mold, and storm damage losses.
- Lead and supervise restoration technicians on residential and commercial projects.
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and moisture monitoring.
- Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment including dehumidifiers and air movers.
- Perform mold remediation and containment procedures.
- Complete fire and smoke damage cleanup and deodorization.
- Coordinate contents pack-outs, inventory, cleaning, storage, and restoration.
- Document job progress through photos, moisture readings, drying logs, and daily reports.
- Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, and project managers.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with SERVPRO and IICRC standards.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and crew members.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency response services.
Qualifications
- IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, AMRT, or FSRT are considered strong assets.
- Strong understanding of water mitigation, structural drying, mold remediation, fire restoration, and contents handling.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials weighing 50 lbs or more.
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments, including attics, crawlspaces, roofs, and confined spaces.
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to respond quickly to emergency service calls.
- Ability to pass a background check.

Compensation
$25.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and leadership background.
