Fire and Water Restoration Technician

Duties

• Perform fire and water damage restoration tasks, including cleaning, drying, dehumidifying, and mold remediation to restore properties effectively.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to remove debris, dismantle damaged structures, and prepare sites for reconstruction.
• Conduct thorough inspections of affected areas to assess damage levels and determine appropriate restoration procedures.
• Assist with carpet cleaning and other specialized remediation services as needed.
• Support construction activities such as minor repairs, drywall removal, and surface cleaning to facilitate property restoration.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress updates for each project.
• Communicate clearly with team members and clients to ensure expectations are met and safety protocols are followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with cleaning techniques using various tools and equipment including hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to operate carpet cleaning machines and perform basic construction tasks confidently.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for documentation and reporting.
• Physically capable of performing manual labor including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
