Duties
- Perform fire and water damage restoration tasks, including cleaning, drying, dehumidifying, and mold remediation to restore properties effectively.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to remove debris, dismantle damaged structures, and prepare sites for reconstruction.
- Conduct thorough inspections of affected areas to assess damage levels and determine appropriate restoration procedures.
- Assist with carpet cleaning and other specialized remediation services as needed.
- Support construction activities such as minor repairs, drywall removal, and surface cleaning to facilitate property restoration.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress updates for each project.
- Communicate clearly with team members and clients to ensure expectations are met and safety protocols are followed at all times.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques using various tools and equipment including hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to operate carpet cleaning machines and perform basic construction tasks confidently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for documentation and reporting.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
