Mitigation Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various mitigation and restoration processes, including water damage restoration, fire restoration, and mold remediation. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of restoration crews including schedules & production levels
• Manages the tasks and activities of a diverse workforce to ensure jobs are being processed within a timely manner
• Effectively communicates with all members of the restoration staff and delegates the appropriate duties for each team member
• Develop and implement processes to improve performance
• Develop employees for opportunities of greater responsibility, improves the abilities, skills and knowledge of production personnel through appropriate instruction and training.
• Works with support personnel to ensure that all aspects of the job are met to prevent any delays in the job process
• Ensures strict compliance with all safety procedures and implements safe working procedures in assigned restoration areas

Position Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• 2 years of management experience
• At least two years of restoration industry experience required
• IICRC certifications preferred
• Experience in building a strong team with tangible leadership skills
• Strong process and results driven attitude
• Ability to multitask and to remain detail orientated
• Must be knowledgeable in relevant computer applications

Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for cleaning and restoration tasks.
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Experience in mold remediation practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration processes and best practices.
- Understanding of fire restoration methods and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform asbestos abatement safely and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team management and client interactions.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment at all times.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
