Summary
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to obtain and successfully execute construction projects. They are responsible for ensuring a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors and resource providers involved in construction services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Evaluate projects in need of reconstruction services and develop a scope of work.
- Manage the customer experience and overall customer satisfaction for reconstruction projects.
- Manage the insurance client experience when applicable on insurance related claims.
- Educate customers on construction process, and insurance process when applicable. Assist the customer through the job process of estimating, approvals, and job execution.
- Review estimates with estimator team members to obtain approvals.
- Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate.
- Negotiate terms and set expectations with the client.
- Collect deposits, draws, and final payments for each project.
- Document the job file to support the services provided throughout the project to include written documentation, material selections, and scope approvals.
- Document the job progress with 3D Virtual Scans and Photos.
- Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish and review project budgets for labor & materials. Manage project expenses for the duration of the project to achieve profit percentage goals.
- Manage in-house personnel and subcontractors working on your construction projects.
- Manage all warranty activities when applicable.
- Ensure proper permits are acquired as needed.
- Manage any equipment, tools, and materials (assets). Assist in maintaining inventory of standard materials for construction projects.
- Follow and oversee safe work practices and adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
- Continued development of leadership and management skills, as well as restoration and construction expertise.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Clean driving record
- Previous construction management experience
- Superb customer service track record
- Effective written and oral communication
- Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
- Experience in restoration and/or construction
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Walking and/or standing throughout the day
- Frequent driving and sitting
- Occasionally climbing ladders
- Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat
- The noise level at individual jobsites can be loud
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
This is a full-time position, with working hours between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Some weekend or after-hours work may be required to accommodate. Travel is required and is primarily local.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
