Key Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC and Duct Cleaning Services: Conduct thorough inspections and clean air ducts, vents, and HVAC systems using industry-standard equipment such as vacuums, compressors, and rotary brushes.
- Job Site Management: Prepare rooms and set up containment/safety measures and equipment for each project, ensuring the job site is clean and orderly during and after service.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate, clean, and maintain tools, equipment, and assigned company vehicles, managing inventory of supplies as needed.
- Documentation and Communication: Complete work orders and job file documentation accurately, including before/after photos. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to explain services and address any questions or concerns.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work is performed safely, following SERVPRO, OSHA, and National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) standards.
- Team Support: Collaborate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes and assist with other cleaning or restoration services when required.
- Experience: Experience in duct cleaning, HVAC, or the restoration industry is required.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and airflow principles is a plus.
- Certifications: NADCA or IICRC certifications are preferred, but not required.
- Physical Ability:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces) and at various heights (climbing ladders).
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, and use hands/tools for extended periods.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
