SERVPRO of Greensboro East is hiring a full-time Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects.

Position Summary
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing restoration and reconstruction projects from the initial estimate through final completion. This role coordinates customers, employees, subcontractors, vendors, materials, schedules, budgets, permits, and project documentation.
The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service while ensuring that all work is completed according to the approved scope, applicable building codes, project specifications, and SERVPRO standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and manage the overall customer experience.
- Create, review, and manage project estimates and scopes of work.
- Review project expectations, pricing, and agreements with customers.
- Obtain signed customer and client agreements before work begins.
- Develop and manage project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate employees, subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify subcontractors and service providers.
- Negotiate project terms and establish clear expectations.
- Schedule subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and project milestones.
- Monitor project progress, quality, profitability, and completion dates.
- Ensure that all required permits and inspections are obtained.
- Confirm that work complies with approved plans, specifications, local codes, and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate project notes, photographs, estimates, documentation, and customer communications.
- Educate customers about the construction and restoration process.
- Conduct final walkthroughs and resolve punch-list items.
- Obtain signed Certificates of Completion and Certificates of Satisfaction.
- Manage warranty-related activities and post-completion concerns.
- Coordinate with customers, insurance representatives, adjusters, vendors, and internal team members.
- Perform Construction Coordinator or Construction Superintendent responsibilities when needed.
- Provide work estimates based on incoming customer calls and assign work to the appropriate teams within the franchise.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in restoration, reconstruction, construction, remodeling, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous project-management experience is preferred.
- Project Management Professional certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer-service background and a proven customer-service track record.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Intermediate math skills.
- Ability to create and understand estimates, budgets, schedules, and scopes of work.
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with limited supervision.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced and occasionally challenging situations.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.

This position may require:
- Walking or standing throughout the workday.
- Frequent driving and sitting.
- Occasionally climbing ladders.
- Visiting active construction and restoration job sites.
- Occasional exposure to extreme conditions, including heat.
