Overview
Restoration Technicians are needed for SERVPRO Brighton/Howell, Highland, White Lake, Commerce, Novi and Bloomfield. Restoration Technicians work with customers on emergency Fire and Water damages to their homes and businesses in addition to mold and biohazard. Cleaning, demolition, documentation, and customer service are skills that are required for this position. Experience is not necessary, but applicants should have a good attitude and a willingness to learn new skills. Crews are required to be "on call" for after-hours emergency work approximately 8 days out of every month.
Initial compensation is $18-$19/hour as a Restoration Technician. Applicants must have a clean background and driving record.

Duties
- Respond promptly to fire, water, mold, and biohazard-related restoration projects, ensuring efficient mitigation and cleanup.
- Perform cleaning tasks using various tools and techniques to remove debris, soot, mold, and water from affected areas.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for demolition, drying, and remediation processes.
- Conduct mold remediation following industry standards and safety protocols.
- Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress to supervisors and clients effectively.
Requirements
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols at all times.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients.
