These activities include estimating the job using Xactimate, scheduling & coordinating subcontractors, communicating with all interested parties, ensuring quality workmanship, and overseeing the entire project lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Manage residential and commercial water, fire, and mold reconstruction/restoration projects with little supervision
- Create estimates for all customers in a timely manner using Xactimate estimating software
- Inspect jobs on a continual basis to ensure quality assurance
- Negotiate restoration services and insurance claims settlements
- Establish, maintain and oversee subcontractor relationships
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Manage subcontractors and insurance claims processes
- Participate in design, process and permit submittal
- Establish and maintain client relationships
- Complete monthly expense reports
- Attend all appropriate company meetings & training sessions
- Additional duties required as needed
- 2 years experience as a project manager, preferably within the restoration industry
- Must have solid knowledge of residential and commercial construction
- Must have Xactimate Software experience
- Ability to research, interview and hire subcontractors who possess the qualifications, work ethic and execution standard of the Servpro Team
- Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills; must be detail-oriented
- Ability to recognize and solve problems independently and in a timely manner
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; experience working with adjusters is a plus
- Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
- $55,000-$85,000 1st year all-in salary, which includes base salary incentives (Incentives are volume based, so total salary could be higher than listed)
