Mitigation Restoration Technician (Full-Time)

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 / hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $1,200!

What You’ll Do:
No two days are the same. Working with a team in Allentown and the surrounding areas, you will:
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to water, fire, and mold emergencies to stabilize and secure properties.
- Hands-on Restoration: Perform water extraction, mold remediation, light demolition, and set up specialized drying equipment.
- Gear & Prep: Load, inventory, and maintain our state-of-the-art work vehicles so you’re always ready to save the day.
- Customer Care: Maintain empathetic, clear communication with stressed homeowners to guide them through the recovery process.
- Safety First: Collaborate with your supervisor to identify job site hazards and maintain a safe workspace.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who enjoy active teamwork.
- Experience: Previous handyman, construction, or restoration experience is a plus, but not required—we will train you! (IICRC certification is a major bonus).
- Credentials: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Flexibility: Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule (evenings/weekends) because disasters don't keep standard business hours.
- Mindset: You love working with your hands, solving problems, and being on the move rather than sitting at a desk.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift 50lbs (and up to 100 lbs with assistance).- Comfort working in tight spaces (crawl spaces/attics) and climbing ladders.
- Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
- Comfort working around standard industrial cleaning agents.
