Restoration & Mitigation Operations Manager
Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can take charge of our mitigation and restoration operations. This role is built for a strong Mitigation Project Manager who’s ready to move up, run a team, and drive performance. You’ll manage people, jobs, quality, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Lead the mitigation/restoration team with clear expectations, accountability, and support.
- Recruit, train, and develop techs and project managers.
- Build a culture of urgency, professionalism, and quality workmanship.
- Ensure all field staff follow safety, documentation, and job site protocols.
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day mitigation operations including water, fire, smoke, mold, and specialty cleanup.
- Assign jobs, manage workload, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Drive consistent, accurate job documentation (scopes, photos, measurements, moisture logs).
- Ensure equipment, vehicles, and supplies are maintained and ready to deploy.
- Own compliance with SERVPRO® standards and industry best practices.
Project Oversight
- Support or step in on complex mitigation jobs.
- Review estimates, scopes, and change orders for accuracy and profitability.
- Work with the office team to keep files tight and billing-ready.
- Manage customer communication, adjusters, and contractors when needed.
Quality & Performance
- Monitor KPIs such as cycle times, job costs, equipment turns, and customer satisfaction.
- Improve processes to increase speed, efficiency, and revenue.
- Ensure IICRC standards are consistently applied in the field.
Required Qualifications
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) & Fire/Smoke Restoration (FSRT) — required.
- 3 years in mitigation, 2 years minimum as a Mitigation Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial mitigation processes.
- Proven experience leading crews or mentoring techs.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass standard background screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional IICRC certifications (AMRT, OCT, ASD, etc.).
- Experience with Xactimate, DryTrack/MoistureMapper, or similar platforms.
- SERVPRO® or franchise restoration experience.

Pay: $75,080.82 - $110,000.00 per year
