Field Service Technician

SERVOLIFT LLC, a leading supplier of Pharmaceutical equipment is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician.

The Field Service Technician delivers comprehensive on-site mechanical services, including repairs, installations, warranty support, training, and troubleshooting. This role involves direct customer interaction through on-site visits, email, and video calls, requiring good written and verbal communication skills. The technician fosters positive customer relationships to drive service and parts sales and contribute to overall group profitability. When not traveling, the technician will support in-house operations, including equipment preparation, testing, troubleshooting, and service-related shop activities, as needed.

Primary duties:

• Travel frequently for field service assignments in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. Sometimes lasting 1-2 weeks, sometimes with short notice. Applicants must be willing and able to meet these travel requirements.
• Perform equipment repairs, installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operator training on-site.
• Maintain detailed service records and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical experience preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic system.
• Familiarity with cGMP environments.
• Experience using hand tools, electrical/air tools, and various types of testing equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to enter confined spaces and ascend/descend ladders or stairs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods (8 hours) and work in enclosed areas.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including N95 respirators.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
