Head of US Business Development – Cross-Border Tax & Compliance

Servix International
Seattle, WA Full Time
POSTED ON 10/8/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 4/4/2027

About us

Servix International helps e-commerce sellers and brands stay tax-compliant across borders. We are the international division of Se&Se Auditors & Chartered Accountants S.p.A. STP, a chartered accountancy firm based in Rome, Italy.

Our group covers VAT, VIES and EPR (packaging and product compliance) across Europe, with offices in Rome, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Seattle, and activity in Mexico, Japan and India. Servix USA LLC is our US entity. We are now looking for the person who will build and lead our US business.

The role

You will own Servix's US business end to end, reporting directly to the Founder & CEO. The role covers two cross-border flows:

US → Europe. Win American sellers, brands and agencies that sell, or want to sell, on European marketplaces. Bring them to our EU VAT, VIES, EPR and fiscal representation services, which our team in Italy delivers.

Rest of world → US. Serve Chinese and European sellers entering the US market. Package and coordinate LLC formation, federal filings for foreign-owned LLCs and multi-state sales tax compliance with our US partners (registered agent, CPA, sales tax specialists).

This is a builder role in a small team: you set the pipeline, the partnerships and the processes, and you grow with them.

Key responsibilities

Business development. Build and manage a pipeline of US sellers, brands and e-commerce agencies expanding to Europe. Target: new signed clients every quarter, per agreed KPIs.

Partnerships. Develop referral relationships with marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart and others), Amazon agencies, 3PLs, freight forwarders and software providers.

Inbound US service. Act as the US point of contact for Chinese and European clients setting up in the US. Coordinate LLC formation, Form 5472 / pro forma 1120 filings and sales tax nexus monitoring with our partners.

Market presence. Represent Servix at industry events, meetups and marketplace seller programs in the Seattle area and across the US.

Commercial offer. Help shape US pricing, proposals and marketing material together with the team in Italy.

Reporting. Share a monthly pipeline and revenue report with the CEO; work closely with our Rome, Shenzhen and Hong Kong teams.

What we're looking for

Required

5 years in business development, partnerships or account management in cross-border e-commerce

Hands-on knowledge of the marketplace seller ecosystem (Amazon FBA, Walmart Marketplace or similar)

An existing network of sellers, agencies or service providers you can activate

Working understanding of US sales tax and nexus, and of how foreign sellers operate in the US

Ability to explain EU VAT and compliance requirements to clients (we will train you on the details)

Authorization to work in the United States

Fluent English; excellent written and verbal communication

Nice to have

Mandarin Chinese, or another EU language (Italian, German, Spanish, French)

Experience at a marketplace (e.g. Amazon Global Selling or Seller Partner Network), a tax compliance provider, a 3PL or an e-commerce agency

Experience opening a new market or building a business line from scratch

Location

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Seattle, WA area. You must live in the Seattle metropolitan area and be available in person for client meetings, partner meetings and events. Regular travel within the US is expected; occasional travel to Europe or Asia is possible. The role is not open to fully remote candidates.

Compensation and benefits

Base salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year, depending on experience (range to be confirmed by Servix before posting)

Commission: variable, based on new client revenue, paid under a written commission plan

Benefits: health insurance, paid time off and paid sick leave as required by Washington law (details to be confirmed before posting)

Employment is at-will, with an initial 90-day introductory period.
