We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Landscape Account Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, driving business growth, and expanding our presence in the landscape industry. The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving account growth. This role acts as the primary point of contact for our clients—managing communication, resolving concerns, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver high-quality services and achieve business objectives.
In a landscape services company, the Account Manager also oversees contract performance, identifies enhancement opportunities, and ensures that service delivery meets contractual and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal teams.
- Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to review performance and address needs.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
Account Performance & Service Delivery
- Ensure contract compliance and adherence to service-level agreements.
- Monitor job progress, quality standards, and timelines.
- Collaborate with operations, field crews, and project managers to ensure expected execution.
- Resolve issues related to service quality or scheduling.
Growth & Revenue Management
- Identify opportunities for upsells, enhancements, and contract renewals.
- Develop and present proposals for additional services.
- Achieve revenue targets for assigned accounts.
- Track financial performance and ensure profitability of each account.
Planning & Coordination
- Assist in creating seasonal plans, service schedules, and resource needs.
- Coordinate with production teams to align services with client expectations.
- Forecast workload and communicate upcoming needs to operations.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and contracts.
- Provide regular account status reports to leadership.
- Use CRM or internal systems to track performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Horticulture, Landscape Management, or related field (preferred). Previous proven experience will also be considered in leu of a formal degree.
- 2–5 years of experience in account management, customer service, or landscape maintenance/project management.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize competing demands.
- Working knowledge of landscape maintenance practices.
- Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to high service quality.
- Proficiency in CRM or account management software.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
