Duties And Responsibilities
- Special Education Case Management
- Provision of Specially Designed Instruction
- Experience completing Developmental/Academic Evaluations and Classroom Observations
- Academic and Functional IEP Goal Development and implementation
- Assess learner progress through various methods.
- Collaborate with the comprehensive special education team within the Mixed Delivery System model across a variety of environments, within compliance of state and federal standards
- Build strong relationships with learners, parents, and colleagues.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that celebrates critical thinking, creativity, and innovation.
- Possession of a valid teaching license in the appropriate grade level and content area (282B)
- Strong understanding of special education state and federal regulations
- Knowledge of Special Education Part B and C
- Experience in implementing research based teaching methodology based upon diagnostic needs assessment
- Proven ability to create an engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for innovation and fostering creativity in learners.
- Experience working with diverse learners.
