Sanford Pride Elementary School seeks a collaborative, data-driven general education social worker to provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students. The social worker will work with students in groups and individually to promote wellbeing, healthy relationships, positive school climate, and academic success.

- Provide evidence-based social-emotional and behavioral interventions to students, both in groups and individually
- Collect and analyze data on student needs, intervention effectiveness, climate and more to inform decision making
- Partner with teachers, administrators, parents and community providers to coordinate student support
- Refer and connect students and families to school and community resources as needed
- Maintain accurate records, follow ethical guidelines for practice, and engage in ongoing professional learning
- Master's degree in social work
- Valid school social work certification/license for Maine
- Training and experience providing social-emotional/behavioral interventions
- Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed practices, PBIS and restorative practices
- Strong data analysis, collaboration and communication skills
