Food Service Assistant

RSU 1 is seeking a Food Service Assistant at Woolwich Central School. This is a school year, 20 hours per week position, 9:30a.m.- 1:30p.m. beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.

The successful candidate will be an efficient and responsible individual who will assist in the serving of school meals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: breakfast and lunch preparation, setting up food for lunch service, and clean-up and breakdown. We are looking for a hard-working team-player with a great attitude who enjoys working in a busy and fun kitchen.

Candidates will have a willingness to learn, and need to follow state and federal food preparation and serving guidelines. Pay is based on experience in food service.

Certification

• Current Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
• ServSafe Food Handler certification is required (and can be obtained online after hire)
